The management of the Aklan Electric Cooperative, Inc. (AKELCO) invites all interested parties and member-consumers to attend the Public Hearing on the joint application of AKELCO and National Transmission Corporation (TRANSCO) for the Approval of the Sale of Various Sub-transmission Lines/Assets within the Franchise of AKELCO filed before the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) docketed as ERC Case No. 2009-051 RC.
       
    In the said joint application, AKELCO sought the approval of the sale of various sub-transmission lines/assets particularly the Nabas-Caticlan 69 KV Line and 1.8 KM 69 KV Submarine Cable link from Caticlan to Boracay Island owned by TRANSCO.

    Thus, the urgency to approve AKELCO’s joint application is necessary to improve AKELCO’s power reliability and capacity performance within the franchise area and will eliminate obligation to TRANSCO’s transmission charges.

    For all interested parties, the initial hearing and preliminary conference will be held on August 11, 2009, Tuesday at exactly one thirty (1:30 p.m.) in the afternoon at the ERC hearing Room, 15th Floor, Pacific Center Building, San Miguel Avenue, Pasig City.

            The Management of Aklan Electric Cooperative, Inc. (AKELCO) invite all member-consumers and other interested parties  to attend the Public Hearing set by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) on the Proposed Rules for Setting the Electric Cooperatives' Wheeling Rates  (RSEC-WR) or Benchmarking on June 30, 2009 at the Engr. Job Y. Besana Hall.

          In the conduct of the expository hearings, the ERC being an  agency that regulates tariff rates of all Electric Cooperatives (EC's) nationwide, intend  to establish a  methodology for setting distribution wheeling rates both beneficial to Electric Cooperatives and member-consumers. ERC Commissioners will be coming over to preside over the Public Hearing.
